These days, bridal themes span from traditional to incredible. Many brides are opting for the couple’s favorite colors as accent colors, ingraining their personal themes (race cars, butterflies, favorite sports teams, etc.) or incorporating sentimental pieces to bring a more personalized feel to their happy event. So, to make your special day even more special, here are some styles that are unique & reflective of different personalities of the bride-to-be!
Hair sprays, headbands & combs
Bracelets & Broaches
Don’t forget the mother of the bride, matron &/or maid of honor, bridesmaids, mother of the groom, etc.! They will all need jewelry for your special day. Consider allowing them to choose their own piece coordinating to your colors or theme that will still reflect their personality! Wondering about price? My selections range from $8-$20 for the styles shown above. Necklace sets, depending on the material they’re constructed from, can range from $12-$100. I do offer some very high end pieces in crystal, abalone, mother of pearl, sterling silver, pearl, etc.
If you’re interested in any of the styles above, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the comment area below. As always,

Many ladies ask, “Should wear a scarf with a necklace?”
The question shouldn’t be “should I”, but “how should I?”
For years, it’s been faux pas to pair a scarf with a necklace, but now, it’s a hot trend! So how do you create a cohesive, chic look? Well, there are a few ways:
You can blouse the scarf with a choker so the necklace shows above the draped scarf.
Another method is wearing a layered necklace above the scarf in a V. Unfortunately, you can’t see everything that’s going on in this pic. The scarf is draped over one shoulder so it frames the extra long necklace. I couldn’t get my camera to capture it without it being fuzzy. 😦
But my pink Italian scarf & pearls still look so chic!
Next, I tried looping a scarf around my neck once and allowing it to hang and frame different necklaces. Notice that the loop can be close to the neck or further away. I put it further away for the bobble/bauble necklace & closer for the multi-strand pearls.
I also tried laying the pearls on top of a draped scarf. This way the scarf is a backdrop for the necklace. Try to match the weight of the scarf to the weight of the piece. Meaning, if you have a classy scarf, put it with a classy set. A whimsical scarf should be paired with a fun set. Don’t mix messages when putting jewelry together. But there are some pieces that’ll work either way.
Works well for covering the cleavage!
Finally, I put the necklaces on top of the scarf.
I hope I inspired you to try some different looks using some of the items you already have (or some you plan to own) & I hope you enjoyed my mini photo shoot. I know I did! Play around with these styles in different colors, fabric types & lengths of necklaces & scarves. Pair them with your favorite ensembles to see which ways flatter you most. And when you find it,

Ever wonder how those models pull off this trend?
It’s nowhere near as hard as it looks. Just pair the necklace with any round collar top to add glitz and glamor.
A pearl collar necklace can add elegance & class to the simplest round collared shirt or tank.
A sequined or crystal necklace can add bling to a blouse!
Let your imagination run WILD!

I’ll admit it. We women are tricky. Ok, dangerous, when it comes to Valentine’s Day. Expectations are high and there’s a lot on the line. But, you have help! Consider me your personal double agent. Here are some tips to picking out a gift for your lady:
1. PAY ATTENTION! Look at the jewelry she wears, what she says she likes, what she’s got pinned on her Pinterest board and KNOW HER FAVORITE COLOR (if any). Know what she DOESN’T like! Avoid disappointment & embarrassment on both sides!
2. Set a budget. When you’re going to look, this’ll help get you in and out faster if you know you only have $20, $200 or $2,000 to spend on that perfect gift.
3. Man up!! We will tell you that it’s the thought that counts. But sometimes, it’s not. Sometimes, it’s the effort that counts. Get her something wonderful, not something “ehhh”. A woman wants to see that you really thought about HER. Not you. So no pots, pans, vacuums, toasters, lingerie, tools, car parts, household cleaning implements or man type stuff, UNLESS SHE SPECIFICALLY REQUESTS IT. Even then, get her a girly one too (if she’s at all girly or ever was).
4. Dig deep! Become a spy, ninja or a rogue CIA operative if necessary! Ask her friends, Mom or coworkers. Do your due diligence to win your lady’s heart!
5. Keep it comparable. If your lady has simple tastes, don’t overwhelm her with a display that’s not her style. If she’s a diva, don’t come up short! Your gift should match your sweetie’s personality.
If you get her a card, know what it says. Read it! So if she says, “Awwww, I never knew you felt that way”, or “Oh, do you really mean that?”, you won’t look like a dope! Women want to know that they’re loved, though about, cherished & special to you. Yeah, it’s tough to find a gift that says all that, but give it your best shot.
And remember, I’m here to help!
Call, email or post & I’ll help you find the perfect gift for your perfect gift!

Does the snow, sleet, wind and rain of winter get you down? To boost your spirits, wear a pop of color in your outfit! Jewelry, accessories or garments that are a bit lighter in hue, can brighten everyone’s day. Try a yellow top to bring the sunshine in or a hot pair of red earrings. Pair those with coordinating handbags or pumps & you’re good to go. So lighten up your day with lively lime, tantalizing turquoise, or perfectly passionate purple!

Choosing a necklace for your neckline stumping you? Here’s a few tips:
Compliment a V-neck with a drop pearl necklace or solitaire pendant. This also complements works with a boat-neck or crewneck top.
Pair strapless and off-the-shoulder necklines with a necklace that remains close to the neck. Consider a choker or a short strand of pearls.
Coordinate an open-collar blouse with a thicker, chunkier piece of costume jewelry. Interlocking chains that lie flat on the collarbone add pizazz to a dressy casual outfit or business suit. Coordinate your earrings and belt with the tones in your necklace.
Accentuate jewel-neck or turtleneck sweater with a long string of colorful beads. Precious stones work well with a thicker day look, while crystals bring a little glamour to an evening outfit.
Complement square-neck tops with pendants dangling from a long chain.
I hope this sparks the inner diva within you and helps you unleash her untamed beauty! If not, I hope it helps you pick out your jewelry & avoid the morning meltdown!! lol

Whether we hate to admit it, or love to relish in it, appearance means a lot. Think it doesn’t? Consider your favorite meal coming to you. Would you rather have it on a nice, clean plate or the inside of a trash can lid? Yeah, that was an extreme example, but I’m sure you get the point.
Jewelry is not only an embellishment, but a way to express your personality, mood or intentions. Your jewelry can say “I’m classy and sophisticated”, “I’m bold and daring”, or “I just threw something on”. So, it’s important that your jewelry convey what you want it to.
Do: Pair pearls with button down blouses, boatnecks, camis & suits. Traditionally, a single strand of pearls is worn on an interview (depending on the job description). Multi-strand sets can be worn on other occasions when you want to let your classiness come out!
Wear modern or trendy pearls with everyday attire. What are modern/trendy pearls? Pearls in nontraditional colors, finishes, sizes or patterns.
Don’t: Pair pearls with ultra-casual items like spaghetti strap tanks, sweats etc. (I don’t care what Carrie Bradshaw says! lol)
Ok, I just put these here (below) to mess with you. Aren’t they GREAT!?!
Just DON’T wear them with a tank or sweats! lol

Have you ever had to deal with boots that were crushed, creased or cracked because the kept being bent? Try this on for size: insert a rolled up magazine into each boot to keep the form. Or, use the inside of each boot to stash extra pairs of rolled up, clean socks!

Some days I wanna be weird. Not Lady Gag weird (I have my limits), but past the norm, totally random, “how did she make that work” weird. I get a kick out of it, I’ll admit. I like to take my accessories & put them together in ways that aren’t supposed to go together. My necklaces and scarves (my mom said it was a no-no), my necklaces as bracelets & my rings on my scarves. I learned a long time ago not to care. I’m a trendsetter. I love to do things in a unique way. They say that the first person to really do something never gets credit (God made everything and He doesn’t get the credit He deserves), but I don’t do it for the credit. I do it cuz it’s FUN!!! So I encourage you to go do your weirdest and best. Wear your rings as ponytail holders. Wear your neck scarf as a head wrap. Heck, use old necklaces & stretch bracelets as boot decor. Whatever you do, do it big & do it you!
